Brownie Points

I often have outside influences in my stories.

Who can name the artist and song featured in "Little'cuz"?

And who can name the movie that inspired "Nick's Nads"?

And which video game inspired "Men of the Empire"?

If you can name them, I might use your name in a future story . . . .

  1. Oh man, if I had more knowledge of these things I might be able to hazard a guess...as it stands I am lost.
Good luck to everyone else! It would be an honor to appear in a Nicholas story :)

    1. Knave, you silly boy. You ARE in two of my stories, as your alter ego Ian McMillan (I can't even begin to pronounce your real last name, let alone spell it). Needles and The Dangers of Architecture.

    3. lol. Well, I thought you knew all this time, so it shows what I know. I figured the name similarity and the fact that I wrote one of them expressly for you was a tell.

  3. Common people, this is super easy. You comb through Little'cuz until you find the lyrics and you google the lyrics. And how many Greek themed movies have there been in the last decade. Only one that I know of, and it's that movie!

  4. Well I'm on a roll now....I've finally figured out a 2nd one! The song must be McCartney's "Beautiful Soul." The greek one is stumping me a bit. I can think of movies like Wrath of the Titans, Clash of the Titans, Alexander, Troy, 300, etc.

    1. Spot on with the song, Jesse McCartney's "Beatiful Soul". Here's the youtube address for people who might want to get inspired themselves. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=053MLJ3BFyQ
You're way off on the movie. Think romantic comedy.

    2. Haha! My Big Fat Greek Wedding?!

    3. Yes! Very good. Another easy internet win. Just type in "romantic comedy greek" and it's the first thing on the list.
The "Nick" in my story is modeled after the body of Louis Mandylor whose body is fucking ROCKING, only younger. Alex wants to see the character again, only this time in a m/m story with his male cousins. I might just do it. I might.

  5. So Adam gets all the brownie points. Save them, they eventually add up to a badge.
